Round Swimming Pool Features
Nationwide, round
pools sell better than any other shape. In fact, industry
figures show that round pools represent approximately 70%
of the above ground pool market. Due to the geometric shape
of a circle and patented KD pool design, a round pool does
not require any additional side supports. Therefore, the
size of the pool you choose is all the space that is needed.
Support Structure :: The
snap together support structure (horizontal ribs,
uprights and strap connectors) are made of highly
durable anodized aluminum. Tee connectors are made
of solid core aluminum.
Liner :: The
liner is made of 28 gauge polyester reinforced fabric
with a 20x20 strand per square inch weave woven polyester
core. A liquid vinyl that contains UV inhibitors
and anti-fungicides is then spread over the polyester
weave. This creates a durable one piece membrane
versus a typical non-reinforced, embossed vinyl liner
used in metal frame above ground pools. Because no
woven fabric can prevent water from passing through,
the fabric is given a co-polymer coating that is
applied to both sides of the fabric as a hot liquid.
The liquid is smoothed into the fabric and fed between
rollers, which firmly seals the openings in the weave.
Strength :: KD
liners have approximately 275 lbs. per square inch
tensile strength. The KD portable pools are designed
with a unique contoured sidewall that provides equal
water pressure throughout the pool. The contour actually
pushes the force of the water back into the pool
so that there is an equal amount of pressure downward
as there is outward.
Skimmer :: KD
thru-wall skimmer works to keep the water surface
clean and free of debris. Its unique design not only
ensures continual water flow to the pump, but also
provides maximum convenience for take-down and storage.
Warranty :: The
KD Royalty above groud swimming pool is backed by
a 15-year limited warranty on against ripping, tearing,
frame parts and seam.
